Adele made a rare comment about her 13-year-old son Angelo, and their shared love of F1 racing.
The "Easy On Me" singer, 38, visited the McLaren Mastercard F1 Team in a new video shared by McLaren Racing on Friday, July 3, and discussed bonding over the sport with her son. In the video, McLaren CEO Zak Brown gives the Grammy winner a tour of the McLaren Technology Centre, where she also meets F1 driver Lando Norris.
Adele said her son Angelo is "really into karting and things like that."
“He just sort of asked about it a couple of years ago and I was like, ‘Alright,' " she continued, after Brown, 54, asked how Angelo got into the sport. “I don't know many teenagers now that have an actual passion. So I'm really trying to encourage it.”

When Brown asked if Angelo was "obsessed" with karting, Adele replied, "Obsessed! But I'm also obsessed."
“When your kid has an interest, you have to get into it,” she explained to Brown. “And more importantly, I think you have to be interested in it."
She went on to explain that she did not expect to "bond with my soon-to-be 14- year-old son about something so passionate where we argue about drivers."

"But it's fun to have that interaction with a teenage boy in 2026," she shared. "I wasn't expecting it.”
Adele has previously shown her fandom for F1 racing. In October 2025, the "Hello" singer attended the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, PEOPLE previously reported. While she was there, she visited the pit of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and posed for a photo with drivers George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

The team shared the picture on Instagram, simply captioning it "Iconic" and tagging the singer.
Adele shares Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki. Angelo has previously made small appearances on several tracks of her albums, including on 25 and 30.
