Ever since Donald Trump returned to the Oval Office for his second presidential term, Barron Trump has largely stayed out of the spotlight. But behind the scenes, the 20-year-old has built himself a massive $150 million business empire.

His reported business ventures have made him richer than his mother. A 2025 Forbes report confirms that despite being away from the spotlight, he is building himself a fortune, making him one of the richest young entrepreneurs, following in his father’s footsteps.

Inside Barron Trump’s $150 Million Business Portfolio

According to Forbes, it was noted that Barron Trump has made good use of his technological skills, expanding his knowledge by learning about crypto. His newfound knowledge reportedly helped contribute to the Trump family’s rapidly expanding fortune.

With the help of his father and older brothers, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr, he co-founded World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency company, in 2024. The company surged after Trump won the presidential election, adding over $1.5 billion to the Trump family’s fortunes.

Of that amount, roughly 10%, or $150 million, reportedly belonged to the 20-year-old. The massive profit helped him have a higher net worth than Melania Trump, whose net worth is estimated at $70 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But the 20-year-old is not stopping with the family-run crypto venture, as he has also entered a new business venture.

According to Newsweek, Trump filed documents in Florida and Delaware in January 2026. His name was present alongside four other individuals as a director of Sollos Yerba Mate Inc, which specializes in a popular South American caffeinated herbal tea. The drink had gained popularity following 2022 FIFA World Cup, and Lionel Messi’s ever-growing popularity in the United States has added to the drink’s reputation.

He would be working along with Rudolfo Castello, Spencer Bernstein, Stephen Hall, and Valentino Gomez. The company made its first post on LinkedIn, sharing a video of a box of drinks floating on a surfboard on water. The post read, “Introducing our 12-pack: Pineapple + Coconut.”

In another report from Newsweek, Barron Trump had also entered the real estate business in 2024, with a company named Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc. But things went sideways because, following the POTUS victory in the presidential election, the firm was dissolved and has been put on pause.

Barron Trump Wants to ‘Impress His Family’

In the same report from Forbes, a source told the outlet that Barron Trump had inherited his father’s interest in making “money” and “a name” for himself. The source said he was well on his way to becoming an entrepreneur, calling him smart, focused, and resourceful.

They added, “He is always looking for areas that interest him and is quite ambitious for such a young age.” The insider noted that he has been “actively pursuing successful ventures” for many years, claiming, “Turning 20 is indeed a turning point for him.” Consequently, he wants to pursue projects that interest him and help him build his fortune.

“This is how to impress his family. He wants to make his own mark,” the source remarked. “He has always thought about business and truly is interested in it like his father. A lot of this ambition has to do with his desire to look good to both Donald and his mother. He is more gung-ho than most.”
