*Summer House* fans aren't the only ones in a tizzy over rumors of a romance between Amanda Batula and West Wilson — the show's stars are getting in on it, too.

The rumors reached a fever pitch over the weekend, but Batula's ex-husband and costar Kyle Cooke was weighing in on the prospect of Batula and Wilson hooking up nearly three weeks ago during an appearance on Bravo's *Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen*.

"For it to go as long as it has in the in the news cycle is kind of shocking," Cooke said at the time. "But no, I don't think there's any merit to it."

When pressed further on the topic, Cooke didn't directly say that he would be upset if Batula and Wilson dated, but did think it would make things difficult within their friend group.

"It would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless," he said. "And I think I'd probably be the last person people would be worried about. I think Ciara would probably have something to say. But if it made Amanda happy, I think I just would have to vote 'yay.'"

Rumors have been swirling around the duo since gossip blog DeuxMoi reported they were allegedly hooking up in an Instagram post on March 5. The rumor created ripples throughout the *Summer House* fandom due to Wilson's very public breakup with costar Ciara Miller, who has been close friends with Batula for years. Miller and West broke up after dating for a few months during *Summer House *season 8.

Reps for Cooke, Batula, West, and *Summer House* did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

As for Cooke and Batula, the pair announced their split in January. *Summer House* documented their entire relationship: They got engaged in 2018, one year after the Bravo reality series' debut, and never shied away from the hardships in their journey down the aisle.

One of the more memorable moments between the two was the reveal of Cooke's infidelity during the premiere of season 3, which aired in March 2019. At the time, Cooke claimed he "blacked out" during a "guys' trip" and "woke up with a girl in [his] bed." Batula struggled with trusting her partner for several years after the confession, even after the pair tied the knot in the season 8 finale.

Wilson brushed aside the rumors during his own appearance on *Watch What Happens Live*, stating that he and Batula are just friends, adding, "If it's not clear, that's a very important person to me, and I, like, care about her a lot."

Batula further denied the rumors, writing, "THANK YOUUUUUUU" when responding to a fan who commented, "West is a safe boy bestie for Amanda because they'd never date. He's so much fun, he cares about his friends and they have mutual friends to hang out with all the time."

But the internet remains unconvinced. Especially as several cast members seemingly responded (without actually saying anything) to the resurgence of the rumors.

Cooke specifically stirred the pot by responding to a post on Threads that reads, "Ok but the funniest thing about this rumor is how much we care about Ciara's well-being but none for Kyle. I don't think I've seen a single comment wondering about how he feels."

The reality star simply replied to the post with two emojis: one of a blond man raising his hand and a crying face emoji, but the response was more than enough to spike fans' belief that the rumors are true.
