Beth Coulter has won on her professional debut, taking victory in the Women's Irish Challenge Ladies European Tour Challenge Tour event at Malahide Golf Club on Friday.
The 22-year-old only joined the pro ranks four days ago and becomes the first Irish female professional golfer to win a professional tournament on home soil.
Coulter, Ireland's leading amateur over the past couple of years, got the better of South Korea's in a sudden death play-off at the north Dublin venue.
The two players finished tied on five under par at the top of the leaderboard, with the former Curtis Cup player ultimately prevailing at the first play-off hole thanks to a birdie four at the 18th, compared to a bogey six recorded by her rival.
The Kirkistown Castle player began the final round in sole second spot after posting opening rounds of 73 and 67 to sit one behind overnight leader, Slovakia's Michaela Vavrova.
The leader's challenge faded, with Coulter carding a two-under-par 70 to force a play-off.

An eagle at the par-five sixth was sandwiched between dropped shots at the fourth and seventh holes but birdies at the 1th and 17th saw her clinch a place in the play-off.
"To win on home soil, in front of so many family, friends and Irish supporters, is incredibly special and something I'll remember forever," said Coulter.
"The atmosphere all week was amazing and the support I received has been incredible."
The course was in fantastic condition and the greens at Malahide were probably the best I've played on since coming back to Europe."
Coulter was part of the Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team which lost to the USA in Los Angeles last month.
She was also a member of the Great Britain and Ireland team which won the Curtis Cup at Sunningdale in 2024.
After narrowly failing to qualify for the Women's Open last weekend, she accepted an invitation to participate in this week's three-round LET Access Tour tournament at Malahide, part of the second tier of women's professional golf in Europe.
