Disney announce star-studded new Avengers theme park ride with beloved returning character

Disney has revealed that a new star-studded Avengers ride will be launching in 2028.

The new ride, Avengers: Infinity Defense, based on the huge Marvel franchise, was announced on Saturday (15 August) at the D3 Fan event in Anaheim, California.

It will see Robert Downey Jr reprise his role of Iron Man, after last playing the iconic character in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Other stars featured in the ride include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.

The new attraction will open at the Avengers Campus at the Disney California Adventure theme park in 2028.
