Florida Tortuga Music Festival: Tickets, who’s playing and when

Starting on Friday, Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival will settle onto the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, promising to deliver some of the “biggest names” in country, rock and roots music.

The festival begins April 10 and lasts through Sunday, April 12. Entry begins at noon each show day, according to the festival’s website. There is no age limit to the festival, and children 6 or younger will receive free general admission.

Since the festival’s start in 2013, a portion of its proceeds have been donated to the Rock the Ocean Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to marine conservation and education. According to the festival’s promotional materials, it’s helped raise over $6 million in funding for ocean conservation initiatives since its inception.

Barring any kind of severe storm or weather, the festival’s site asserts that it will continue, “rain or shine.”

Who's playing at the Tortuga Music Festival?

Headlining the Tortuga Music Festival are Post Malone, who’ll play on Friday, April 10, Riley Green, who’ll perform on Saturday, April 11 and Kenny Chesney, who’ll perform on Sunday, April 12.

Throughout the weekend, upwards of thirty other groups and artists will perform across the festival’s three stages: Main Stage, Sunset Stage and Next From Nashville Stage.

How to buy tickets to the Tortuga Music Festival

Passes to the Tortuga Music Festival are sold through their official site, and currently range from $205 for single-day, basic general admission to upwards of $1,000 for various tiers of three-day, VIP passes.

What can’t you bring to the Tortuga Music Festival?

Among the items attendees are not allowed to bring inside with them are: Outside alcohol or beverages, glass bottles or containers, blankets, musical instruments, weapons of any kind, single-use plastic cups, grills, fireworks, or aerosol cans of any kind – including aerosol sunscreen.
