Jimmy Fallon compared Donald Trump to the "explosive diarrhea" parasite as the president's approval ratings hit a record new low.
A new poll found President Trump's approval ratings have plummeted to just 33%, which is the lowest level of his presidency. The fall in numbers comes amid rising prices in America and Trump's ongoing war with Iran.
While hosting Tuesday night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the comedian addressed Trump's poll results and said they're lower than the Cyclosporiasis outbreak. The parasite has impacted thousands of people across America, with the number of cases soaring past 6,500.

During the August 18 broadcast, Fallon began, "According to a new poll, President Trump's approval rating has fallen to 33%, the lowest level his presidency. Yeah, I mean, most people like to drop a few for the summer, but this is pretty bad. I mean this is...

"Yup, Trump's approval rating is down to 33%. I mean, even diarrhea lettuce is at 34%." The audience laughed and clapped as the comedian continued, "There is some good news for Trump. His numbers are at an all-time high in a new poll from Catering Car and Driver Magazine.

"The poll also found that a large majority of Americans are concerned about an endless war with Iran. Yeah, this is America, the only things we want to be endless are shrimp at Red Lobster and seasons of Grey's Anatomy. That's it, that's all. We're good with those two!"
Fallon added, "Meanwhile today, Trump said the U.S. is currently not engaged in any talks with Iran. Yeah. Well, we're out of missiles, so now we're hitting them with the silent treatment. Trump was like, 'Let me put it this way, there's a better chance of me talking with Melania.'"
A clip of the Tonight Show segment was shared on Instagram, with viewers rushing to heap praise on Fallon. "Fallon , I love these mini think pieces you create. Keep creating ..you doing a great job buddy," one person said.
Another praised, "Jimmy you're fantastic." Other viewers focused on Trump's disastrous poll numbers, with one person suggesting, "Anything over 0% is insane."
"Still a third of Americans approve?!!!! OMG," another shocked Instagram user commented, as someone else asked, "Are you sure it’s not mistaken for his I.Q?" Hitting out at Trump's entire team, another Fallon fan commented, "These jokes write themselves. This administration is a historical punchline."
It wasn't just Fallon who highlighted Trump's plummeting poll numbers. CNN's chief data analyst, Harry Enten, discussed the new polling on Tuesday, August 18, and noted Trump is "reaching record lows" once more and is "losing."
