Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have been friends for years, but reportedly began dating around February of this year.
The romance has blossomed into something “serious,” and the two are “committed to their relationship,” a source told Us.
Six months in, their relationship is “the real deal,” the insider added.
Six months after buzz began to spread that they were dating, Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton’s romance is the “real deal,” according to a source speaking to Us.
The couple—who were longtime friends long before they ever dated—“are still very serious and committed to their relationship,” the insider said. “It is the real deal for Kim and something she hasn’t experienced in a long time.”

The two have begun posting snippets of their relationship on social media, and this summer has been a “whirlwind,” the source added, as “both are extremely busy with work right now.”
The Skims founder and the F1 driver took an especially meaningful trip to Idaho over the Fourth of July holiday with Kardashian’s children, which marked “a really special week” for the pair.
“He bonded with her kids, and it was really nice for everyone to be together,” the insider said of North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, who Kardashian shares with ex-husband Kanye West. “Kim loved how great he is around her kids. They played games and spent time on the lake doing wholesome family activities. It was cute.”
A source told People in June that Kardashian’s decision to bring Hamilton around her children “reflects how much she trusts him.”

“Kim’s very selective when it comes to the people she allows around her kids,” the insider said. “She’s very protective of them and doesn’t take new introductions lightly.”

The busy couple is “making the relationship work even when they have to be long distance,” the insider said. “Whenever Lewis has downtime, he’ll stay with Kim in Los Angeles. When they’re together, they love keeping things low-key and spending time at home.”

Beyond Kardashian’s children, “Everyone in Kim’s family loves Lewis and thinks he’s great for her,” a source told Us. “Kim is extremely happy and giddy around him. She’s like a little kid when they’re together, and her sisters think it’s so cute.”
Hamilton’s schedule is about to amp up later this month, when he races at the Dutch Grand Prix. Competitions at the Italian Grand Prix, Spanish Grand Prix, and Azerbaijan Grand Prix will follow in close proximity.

A source previously told People that Kardashian and Hamilton are “such a chill couple together” and feel as though “they’ve been together for years.”
“Everything feels very easy and light,” the source added. “The fact that they knew each other before helps, but they both align in terms of ambition, life goals, and making things easy.”

The insider continued that their relationship is “very cute,” adding, “After some of Kim’s other relationships, friends think this is just what she needs. She’s always at peace with him.”
