Kyren Williams Fantasy Week 4 Start or Sit: A Comfortable RB2 With a Capped Ceiling

The Rams head to Philadelphia with Williams 19th among running backs in PFN’s Week 4 rankings after his best usage game of the season: a 15-6 carry edge over Blake Corum on Sunday night and six catches on seven targets. That is back-to-back weeks clearing 8 PPR points as a pass catcher, though both came with Puka Nacua sidelined, so there is real risk in projecting the usage forward. The number of options in this offense soaking up touchdown equity caps the upward trajectory. What is left is the consistency, and that makes him a comfortable RB2 you can rely on.

Should You Start or Sit Kyren Williams in Week 4?

Williams held a 15-6 carry edge over Blake Corum on Sunday night, his greatest edge this season. He also caught six of seven targets, making it back-to-back weeks with more than 8 PPR points scored as a pass catcher.

Those two performances came with Puka Nacua sidelined, so there certainly is some risk in projecting that usage to stick, but I do think his success last week gives him as strong of a role projection as we’ve had to date.

I don’t think there’s a ton of upward trajectory in this profile because of the number of options in this offense that soak up touchdown equity, but the consistency of this group also creates a floor as a comfortable RB2 that you can rely on.
