Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s reported UK return drew a sharp five-word verdict: “I don’t believe they can.” The Duchess of Sussex and the Duke were said to be moving back with Archie and Lilibet for an extended stay.

According to a News24 report, PR strategist Sharon Williams addressed the alleged return to the UK. The report said The Sun claimed the Sussexes would move by the end of August. It also said they would bring Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five.

When asked how they could improve their image, Williams answered, “I don’t believe they can.” She added, “Unless they stay right out of the public eye.”

Meanwhile, Williams cited “too many false starts” as one reason for the cold forecast. She also pointed to what she called their “apparent abandonment” of the UK and duty. The founder of The Taurus Marketer said, “The British like loyalty.”

She added that many people “love the royals.” According to her, the cowas were seen as having “betrayed the King” and other senior royals, including the Late Queen.

However, the BBC details added a formal frame to the UK return report. BBC News said there were “no current plans” for the couple to resume working royal roles. It also reported they would live at “a private, non-royal residence” outside London.

Their official status was not expected to change. News24 also cited a July 30 YouGov poll. It said 58 percent viewed Prince Harry negatively. It also said 65 percent viewed Meghan Markle unfavorably. For Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the UK return was framed as a family move, not a royal comeback.
