Sara Gore says she has been declared ā€œcancer-freeā€ after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

The TV personality, 50, shared a candid post on Instagram on Sunday, July 12, following her 10-week leave of absence from her roles hosting NBC’s real estate show Open House and the lifestyle show New York Live.

ā€œI’m doing really well,ā€ the mom of three wrote in the post’s caption, alongside a photo of herself sitting in a garden. ā€œCurrently cancer free. Hallelujah. šŸ™Œ.ā€

According to Gore, she is still in the ā€œreconstruction phaseā€ of her treatment and will be for several months.

ā€œIt’s truly a journey. Healing has taken some time, but every week I’ve felt a little more like me again,ā€ she continued, before thanking her friends and family for their support amid her cancer journey.

ā€œThank you for the books. The food. The flowers. The prayers. The puzzles. The cards. The texts. The calls. Every thoughtful gesture that came my way. I felt EVERY bit of it,ā€ she wrote. ā€œYou carried me through some really hard days, and I’ll never forget your kindness.ā€

Gore shared that she is set to return to New York Live and Open House ā€œsoonā€ — and she ā€œhonestly can’t wait.ā€

ā€œUntil then, I’m soaking up these last few slow mornings appreciating all the moments that usually move by too fast to notice. It’s good to be here,ā€ she concluded her post. ā€œI love you all.ā€

The NBC host first announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer live on air during the April 30 episode of New York Live.

ā€œIt just felt right to tell you myself. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and I’m going to be stepping away for treatment and surgery,ā€ she said at the time. ā€œIf I didn’t say that I was a little bit scared, I’d be lying.ā€

The host shared that both her mother and her sister were also diagnosed with breast cancer, adding, ā€œI always knew I was high-risk. I always assumed this day would come. But let me tell you, you are never ready.ā€

ā€œFor some reason, even when you catch it early because you’re doing everything right, it is an emotional blow,ā€ Gore said during the emotional segment. ā€œI wasn’t ready for that. That actually really surprised me. It really stung.ā€

Although she didn’t share details about her treatment, she said she would be taking ā€œsome time to rest and to heal.ā€

ā€œI’m going to come back better than ever, and I’m going to see you on the other side of this,ā€ Gore explained. ā€œThank you for all you’ve done.ā€
