NewsNation posted double-digit primetime ratings gains in the third quarter of 2026, driven by consistent viewership increases across its evening and daytime schedules, according to Nielsen Big Data.
The cable network saw a 12% rise in primetime total viewers and an 8% lift among adults ages 25 to 54 compared to the same period in 2025. Across the entire broadcast day, total viewership rose 9% year-over-year. Averaging 60,000 viewers, the quarter stands as the third-strongest in the network’s history for total-day audience.

“Elizabeth Vargas Reports” led the primetime lineup, posting a 29% jump in total viewers and a 22% increase in the 25–54 demographic. “On Balance with Leland Vittert” followed with a 30% surge in total viewers alongside a 17% gain in the demo. “CUOMO” expanded its total audience by 11% while climbing 29% among adults 25–54. Meanwhile, “Katie Pavlich Tonight” rounded out the block with a 6% boost in total viewers and a 25% lift in the key demographic.
