Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat broke his silence on allegations made by fellow streamer Reggie Travers.

The claims center on 17-year-old QuVonn RaKai Linder, known online as RaKai, who is a frequent collaborator with Cenat. Travers alleged in a YouTube video on Sep. 27 that Cenat is ignoring sexual abuse Linder has faced in their inner circle. "Kai, you wrong as hell, 'cause you know somebody took advantage of RaKai," Travers said, referencing the young streamer.

Travers escalated the allegations during a Sep. 30 Instagram livestream, calling Cenat a "pedophile." "He been grooming RaKai," Travers added in the clip, alleging that Cenat has been encouraging RaKai to do homosexual acts "for clout."

Cenat, 24, who is the seventh-most-subscribed person on Twitch with over 21.9 million followers, officially addressed the allegations on a livestream on Sep. 30. "Tomorrow, when you wake up, call the cops. Call the cops and show them evidence because guess what? I am calling the cops!” he said on air, addressing Travers. "I'm suing you, bro!"

"I still have sympathy for you because I know you're not yourself, bro. But it's gone too far," Cenat added.

Cenat also talked about helping Travers in the past – he claimed to have once saved Travers' life in Alaska by paying his unpaid debts.

"Guess who saved you, bro?" Cenat exclaimed on the same livestream.

The livestream has amassed over 2 million views in less than 24 hours on YouTube.

When Travers' allegations against Cenat first surfaced on Sep. 27, in that roughly three-minute-long YouTube video, he mentioned Cenat but spent most of the runtime accusing his brother of sexually abusing him when he was younger.

"My brother, he took advantage of me. … I'm not scared no more," Travers said in the tearful clip. "I knew this day would come," he continued. "They say the truth will set you free, and I've been running from this for so long."

Travers, 21, boasts over 1.1 million followers on Twitch and over 569,000 subscribers on YouTube. He is a frequent collaborator with Cenat, who was named the Streamer Awards' streamer of the year in both 2022 and 2023.

Later in the same video, Travers dropped the allegations against Cenat, adding, "I'mma be real. Y'all need to tell him to speak up … And I'm glad I got this off my back. And if you just like me, I'mma speak up for us. So parents, if your kids tell you that somebody is making them uncomfortable, you better listen."

On Sep. 30, Travers' Instagram live clip, in which he made the stronger allegations against Cenat, was shared by X user @FearedBuck, gaining over 6 million views in a day.

USA TODAY has reached out to Linder, Cenat and both Travers brothers for comment but has not yet heard back.

Who is Twitch streamer Reggie Travers?

Travers, who goes by the username Girlhefunny1 online, began posting on YouTube in 2020. He, Linder and Cenat have appeared on several livestreams together since then. Both Linder and Travers are a part of the Clover BoyZ, a group of influencers who stream themselves hanging out together online.

One comment on Travers' Sep. 27 YouTube video with over 2,000 likes reads, "Child molestation by a family member in the black community has been swept under the rug for way too long. Keep speaking up for us, king, you not alone."

Other reactions on X are not as sympathetic and believe that Travers is putting Linder in a difficult situation. "Putting an allegation that a 17-year-old got molested just because you went through the same thing [is] wrong," wrote user @641shakur in a viral post.
