Priscilla Presley, 81, Makes First Public Appearance in Months Wearing a Red-Hot Gown

Priscilla Presley stepped out in Mallorca, Spain on July 30.

She wore a red long-sleeve dress with a matching $1,000 purse.

Her last public appearance was in March.

Priscilla Presley opted for head-to-toe red during a rare public appearance. The 81-year-old author and actress stepped out in Mallorca, Spain on July 30, where she donned a fiery long-sleeved dress.

Presley’s gown featured a rounded neckline and a wrap detail at the waist. She accessorized with a half moon pendant necklace and a top-handle Aigner purse, which retails for $1,039. She kept the red theme going with her hair and makeup, sporting straightened auburn hair and a bold lip.

The last time that Presley was photographed was back in March, when she attended the opening of the Elvis Memphis Mansion museum in Denmark. She and Elvis Presley were married for six years and had one daughter, Lisa Marie, who passed away at the age of 54 in 2023.

Despite her divorce from Elvis in 1973, Priscilla maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship with the singer. When he passed in 1977, Priscilla dedicated herself to honoring his life. She famously co-founded Elvis Presley Enterprises, which manages the singer’s estate and assets.

“With me, he was usually gentle and often tender. He was also extremely generous,” Priscilla wrote in her 2025 book Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis. “He bought me beautiful things, expensive gifts, amazing jewelry. I still wear the diamond cross he gave me. I had much to be grateful for in my marriage.”

In her second memoir, Priscilla also candidly discussed their 10-year age gap. She married Elvis when she was 21, though they met when she was just 14.

“The problem, of course, was that as I grew into adulthood, the power imbalance created by the age gap with Elvis remained,” she explained. “It was difficult for us to have a marriage of equals when Elvis was used to being in charge.”
