Someone please, please, please call the fire department.

Sabrina Carpenter accidentally set a fire in her bathroom, and she has the picture to prove it. In a series of photos posted to her Instagram Stories ahead of the new year, the "Manchild" singer shared numerous memories from her banner 2025, including collaborating with Dolly Parton on the "Please Please Please" remix, releasing her latest album Man's Best Friend, and taking her wildly successful Short n' Sweet Tour all over the world.

In one recollection, though, things didn't go quite so well for the singer. One photo towards the end of the batch shows a sink with obvious fire damage all around the vanity, as well as the mirror. What looks like a candle in a red glass sits nearby, though it's unclear what caused the incident or when it happened. "Set my bathroom on fire by accident," she captioned the snap, with a white heart emoji to boot.

Fires seem to be contagious among performers who opened for Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour, though. In addition to Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, who also opened for Swift on that massive tour, shared a video in June 2024 of her and The Life of a Showgirl singer attempting to put out a fire of their own.

In the video, which Abrams shared to commemorate her and Swift's then-new collaboration “Us,” Swift can be seen looking perplexed by a small flame on a countertop in a kitchen. “What do I do about this?” she asked while holding a fire extinguisher. “I think we’re gonna die!” she joked.

When Swift finally got the extinguisher to erupt with a stream of retardant, she and Abrams both screamed at the sudden force of the device, which naturally sprayed everywhere. “Our purses are ruined, and my shoes, and the whole room I think,” Swift can be heard saying.

“Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am is some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life,” Abrams wrote in the video's caption on Instagram. “Now we know how to use a fire extinguisher.”

It's unclear if Swift — or anyone — was around for Carpenter's fiery escapades, but one thing is clear: If the "Fate of Ophelia" singer was around, at least this time she would have known how to properly put it out.

Other memories included in Carpenter's year-long round-up include her getting to sing with Paul Simon on Saturday Night Live, her Vogue cover, and filming the "Tears" video with Colman Domingo.
