- Ariana Grande and Cher will front a major diva-sized episode in December.

- Melissa McCarthy, Lily Allen, and more are also set to appear on the NBC show.

*Saturday Night Live* will close out 2025 with some of its biggest stars of the season as hosts and musical guests.

The long-running NBC sketch comedy show announced Monday the final roster of celebrities who will front the remaining episodes of the year, including all of the hosts and musical guests set for a trio of episodes airing through December.

One day after confirming that perennial host Melissa McCarthy will return for the Dec. 6 episode, the network unveiled that Dijon will perform for the first time on the same episode.

The following week on Dec. 13, *Wake Up Dead Man *actor Josh O'Connor takes over for McCarthy for his hosting debut, with British pop star Lily Allen bringing buzzy tunes from her David Harbour divorce album *West End Girl *to the Studio 8H stage.

Finally, for the last episode of 2025, *Wicked: For Good* actress Ariana Grande will host the Dec. 20 installment, with Hollywood icon (and "DJ Play a Christmas Song" singer) Cher serving as the musical guest for the first time since her debut *SNL* performance in 1987.

*SNL*'s 51st season kicked off earlier this year, with a revolving door of famous faces hosting the show since its Oct. 4 premiere.

To date, Bad Bunny, Amy Poehler, Sabrina Carpenter, Miles Teller, Nikki Glaser, and Glen Powell have hosted, with Doja Cat, Role Model, Brandi Carlile, sombr, and Olivia Dean serving as musical guests.

Season 51 also saw major cast shakeups hit the program, with longtime performers Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, and Emil Wakim all departing.
