Stanley Tucci said he is often mistaken for Mark Strong
"We get complimented on each other's performances," the actor said during a recent 92NY event
Strong has also addressed the comparisons between himself and his fellow bald performer
Though "flattered," Stanley Tucci maintains that he is not Mark Strong.
While taking part in 92NY's Stanley Tucci in Conversation with Josh Horowitz: The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Tucci in Italy panel in New York City on May 5, moderator Josh Horowitz asked the actor what fellow celebrity people get him confused with.
"Mark Strong, always," Tucci, 65, responded. "We get complimented on each other's performances. It's really great."
The 62-year-old British performer, Tucci continued, is "such a nice person" and "such a great actor."

When Tucci gets the comparison to Strong, he said, "I'm very flattered. ... I just go, 'Thank you very much.' "
And while Horowitz joked, "All attractive bald men do not look alike, folks," Tucci quipped back, "Apparently, we do."

Strong previously spoke about the comparisons to Tucci while appearing on the BBC's The One Show in 2025.
"We met, actually, and I had to confess to him that somebody once asked me to sign a poster because they thought I was him, and she wouldn't take no for an answer. So, I just signed it as him," Strong said.
"And he, when we met, told me he's done the same. So I don't know why we get mistaken for each other," the actor continued of himself and Tucci.
Added Strong: "I played a character in Kingsman who had, sort of, glasses. I suppose we look similar, and you can find a photo of us looking similar. But we've become good friends, so that's a bonus!"

Tucci and Strong have yet to star in a film together. However, they did pose for a photo at the opening night of A View from the Bridge on London's West End in 2015.
Strong starred in the production of the Arthur Miller play as it was revived in London and later on Broadway.
