Sydney Sweeney spent the day in Santa Monica in a brunette wig and shared photos of the makeover on Instagram.
“When ur bestie shows up and says ‘here put this wig on’ 😂🥰,” she captioned her post.
Sweeney paired her look with a white “Santa Monica” T-shirt, high-rise jean shorts, white sneakers, sunglasses, and diamond stud earrings.
Sydney Sweeney stepped out for a sun-filled day in Santa Monica, California, with a striking dark-hued new hair transformation.
On October 14, the 29-year-old actress shared photos on Instagram of her trip to Pacific Park—and her wig disguise. The shaggy brunette hair grazed her shoulders and featured full bangs. She captioned the post, ‘when ur bestie shows up and says ‘here put this wig on’ 😂🥰.””

Sweeney dressed for the occasion in a white “Santa Monica” T-shirt featuring purple palm trees, high-rise jean shorts, white sneakers, sunglasses, and diamond stud earrings. Elsewhere in her photo dump, she included a snapshot of what she ate (chicken tenders and fries) and brief video clips of herself riding rollercoasters.
The Euphoria actress is no stranger to amusement parks. A 2023 interview with Women’s Health stated that she previously worked at Universal Studios as a tour guide while building her acting career.

“It was hard because [my parents] were supporting my dream, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” she said. “I didn’t want to fail them. No matter how long it took, I was going to be in a TV show or a movie, and I wasn’t going to stop until something happened.” A later article by The Hollywood Reporter revealed that she worked at Universal Studios briefly—fromJune 2016 to July 2016.

Sweeney’s Santa Monica post comes weeks after she showed off a much different look, posing in the “nude” for her latest Syrn collection.
On September 30, she modeled Syrn’s Meet Me Halfway plunge bra in the color Babe. In a video shared on Syrn’s Instagram, she can be seen pairing the piece with matching loungewear shorts and a cropped cardigan. She styled her signature long blonde hair in full, bouncy curls and topped off the look with soft pink makeup.

“This is my new collection, ‘Send Nudes,’” Sweeney said in the video. “I always felt like nude bras were kinda boring, and so I wanted to make something super cute and playful and girly… Super cute, right?”
