Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga have ended their years-long feud, they revealed at BravoCon 2025
After videos of them hugging and smiling went viral, Giudice tells PEOPLE how the reconciliation came to be
"It was really beautiful," she says. "And I'm happy"
Teresa Giudice is pulling back the curtain on how her feud with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, finally came to an end.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 53, revealed that she made up with her brother and sister-in-law at BravoCon 2025.
She tells PEOPLE that she was the one to reach out to Joe, 51, to end the years-long feud.
"I reached out to him and at first, we were gonna meet — the four of us," Giudice says, referring to herself, her husband, Luis Ruelas, Joe and Melissa, 46. "But then I was thinking about it, and I was like, you know, I wanted to talk to my brother first."
"I wanted him to really see me, and I wanted him to feel it from me, and vice versa, I wanted to feel it from him. So I felt like the two of us should meet first," she explains. "The two of us should meet first, and then the four of us, and that's what we did."

She says that it was "amazing" to reconnect with Joe. They were reminiscing on their childhood and memories from their younger life, she adds.
"He's like, ‘You remember when you used to throw my toys out the window?’ and I'm like, 'Oh my God.' I'm like, ‘Is that why you've been — that's why you're mean to me? Because of that?’ I swear, I think about that, childhood trauma, and I'm like, please get over that now," says Giudice.
"After that, we met with Luis and Melissa, and I mean, it was really beautiful, it really was," Giudice continues. "We talked about certain things, apologized, and that was it, moved forward, yeah, and I'm happy."

Giudice says it was important to her to show her kids (she shares daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana with ex Joe Giudice) that she could patch up the relationship with her brother.
"I want the kids to see this," Teresa says. "My brother's my only family that I have. I mean, I lost my parents — besides my daughters and my husband and my stepsons."
She adds, "My brother's my blood, so I want him in my life."

One day, Luis surprised her by inviting Melissa and Joe over for dinner, because Gia and Joe hadn't talked yet.
"Gia adores my brother, that's her godfather, so Luis invited them over for dinner," Teresa says. "And he told me an hour before they came over. It was so beautiful."
Gia told PEOPLE that it "feels really good" to be connected with her aunt and uncle again.
"I'm looking forward to the path of rebuilding and just getting to a better place, which we already are in, so, yeah, it's exciting. I'm really happy about it," Gia said.
BravoCon 2025 continues through Sunday, Nov. 16 at Las Vegas' Caesars Forum.
