It took him over a week, but Tom Holland has finally offered fans an update after an accident while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

On Friday, September 19, Holland suffered a mild concussion while filming a stunt for the upcoming Spider-Man sequel at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England. The 29-year-old actor took a week off from filming to recover.

The following day, Holland was spotted with his fiancée, Zendaya, attending a charity event held by his family's The Brothers Trust. The duo were said to be all smiles while posing for pictures at the event held at Christie’s auction house in London, England.

Tom Holland Updates Fans After On-Set Accident

Just over a week after suffering a mild concussion, Tom Holland fans on his recovering via an Instagram video and message where he spoke about the family charity, The Brothers Trust.

In the caption, Holland wrote, "What a night! Another huge success. The Brother’s Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night. Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it!"

Addressing his injury, he wrote, "I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier 😂."

The video that accompanied Holland's update showed key moments from the evening, including footage of him and Zendaya, dressed to the nines, as they entered the event. There was also a peek of Holland with a microphone in hand as he emceed before leaving early.

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is Coming Next Year

Production for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in full swing now. The upcoming Marvel installment is scheduled to premiere on July 31, 2026.

According to the synopsis for the upcoming summer film, "Peter Parker tries to focus on college and leave Spider-Man behind. But when a new threat endangers his friends, he must break his promise and suit up again."

Deadline reports that Marvin Jones III will play the crime boss Tombstone as the primary villain in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Zendaya will return to the Spider-Verse as MJ, and Jacob Batalon will play Ned Leeds. The upcoming film will also feature Jon Bernthal as Punisher and Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
