President Donald Trump will appear on the screens of "Survivor", "Chicago Fire" and "The Masked Singer" watchers on Wednesday - and no, it's not an April Fool's joke.
The president is set to give an address updating Americans on the Iran war on the evening of April 1, right smack-dab in the middle of primetime TV. CBS said in a March 31 programming advisory that the special episode of "Survivor 50" will be interrupted by the address about halfway through its two-hour runtime on Wednesday, April 1. Additionally, "The Masked Singer" on Fox and "Chicago Fire" on NBC will be interrupted similarly for Trump's address.
Airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount, the 50th Season of "Survivor" premiered in February with a cast of 24 fan-favorites from previous seasons. After last Wednesday's elimination and a previous medical evacuation, 17 contestants are left to fight for the grand prize.
Meanwhile, on Fox and NBC, the two-hour finale of "The Masked Singer" will air at 8 p.m. ET and likely be paused at 9 p.m. for the address. Episode 16 of Season 14 of "Chicago Fire" will air at 9 p.m. ET and will be delayed until the conclusion of Trump's speech.
