The next installment in college football video games is arriving.
EA Sports College Football 27 is about to drop, and there's plenty of hype revolving around the third edition of the franchise. Several upgrades have been made, from the vastly expanded dynasty features that dives into name, image and likeness, more traditions and gear that give a realistic feel and gameplay that expected to be much smoother than past years. Plus, the beloved mascot mode is back to bring total chaos to the field. This will also be the first time the game is available on PC.
The game officially releases on July 9, but certain gamers that have purchased special editions will be able to play it before then, getting their hands on the product before the masses.
When does EA Sports College Football 27 come out?
People that bought EA Sports' MVP+ Membership will be able to play the game on Thursday, July 2. Those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition or the MVP bundle can begin playing on July 6. Everyone else with just the standard edition can play on July 9.
Here is the day and times when the game is available:
MVP+ Membership: Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
Deluxe edition or MVP bundle: Monday, July 6 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
Standard edition: Thursday, July 9 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
People with EA Play subscriptions will get a 10-hour trail of the game at the same time as MVP+ members on Thursday, July 2.

EA Sports College Football 27 versions, how to preorder
The deadline to get an MVP+ membership is Thursday, July 2 at noon ET/9 a.m. PT, according to the EA website. The deluxe edition and MVP bundle can still be digitally pre-ordered on EA online store, Xbox's Microsoft Store, PlayStation's PlayStation Store and Steam up until July 9, allowing early access. If bought during the early period, it will be available to play immediately.

What's new in EA Sports College Football 27?
The top changes in College Football 27 come in its top game mode: dynasty mode. It now has more real-life features to put players fully in charge, such a deciding how you want to allocate time and resources − money − toward your program with dynasty points, giving everyone a unique way on how it builds a team. Part of that is a new NIL feature where gamers will actually need to spend some resources to get top-tier players to go to your school − and keep them on the roster. Recruiting also has tweaks to where high school players can decommit, and the coaching cycle is more fluid.
As for gameplay, pre-snap adjustments are much easier to access, streamlining the flow of games while making adjustments to the gameplan, especially on defense. There are expanded playbooks, and road to glory has more position to put a created player.
There are group of players that have wanted more player accessories, and they are in the game with plenty of uniform modifications, included the highly-requested single leg sleeve. Finally, the extremely popular mascot mashup from decades ago is back, allowing players to play games as team mascots, with dozens of them in the game. The mascot games also feature wacky, over-the-top animations to fully buy into the shenanigans.
