Which former UCLA Bruins have won an NBA title over the past decade?
The New York Knicks wrapped up the NBA Finals on Saturday with yet another comeback win over the San Antonio Spurs to wrap up the 2025-2026 championship. For the second-straight season the UCLA Bruins didn't have an alum participate in the Finals.
The Bruins haven't seen a former player win an NBA title since Jrue Holiday did so with the Boston Celtics back in 2024. While it's slowed down in recent years, UCLA has seen several players become superstars and win NBA titles in the NBA, such as Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Bill Walton and Kevin Love.
Abdul-Jabaar leads all former Bruins with six NBA titles. With that in mind, let's take a look at each former UCLA player to win an NBA title over the past decade.
2024: Jrue Holiday, Boston Celtics
Holiday has become one of basketball's best star role players, winning two NBA titles and two Olympic gold medals. The former UCLA guard put up 13.2 points per game in the playoffs for Boston en route to the title.
2023: Peyton Watson, Denver Nuggets
Peyton Watson began his NBA career with an NBA title with the Nuggets. Watson is fresh off of a career-year in Denver, putting up 14.6 points per game.
2022: Kevon Looney, Golden State Warriors
Kevon Looney was an important piece in the Warriors' 2022 title, with the foreigner Bruin crashing the boards with ferocity all postseason long.

2021: Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks
Holiday started one of the most iconic plays in recent basketball history, stripping Devin Booker and throwing a lob to Giannis Antetokounmpo to seal the Finals for the Bucks.
2019: Norman Powell, Toronto Raptors
Norman Powell grinded his way from a second round pick to an important player for the Raptors, including scoring 6.5 points per game for Toronto's 2019 Finals team.
2018: Kevon Looney, Golden State Warriors
Looney was still coming off the bench for the Warriors in 2018 but he was still able to guard and rebound for Golden State, averaging 4.1 points and 4.2 rebounds for the Warriors in their championship run.
2017: Matt Barnes and Kevon Looney, Golden State Warriors
UCLA saw a pair of alumni win an NBA title while coming off of the bench for the Warriors team, in year one of Kevin Durant's tenure in the Bay Area.
2016: Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers
Kevin Love didn't win the Finals MVP like Lebron James or hit the game-winning shot like Kyrie Irving but he was still a huge part of Cleveland's 3-1 comeback in the 2016 NBA Finals.
