Vanderpump Rules newbies Chris Hahn and Audrey Lingle were off to a promising start as a new couple. Their laid-back personalities and humor just clicked. But things took a turn when Audrey felt Chris wasn’t taking things seriously. When Chris promised that wasn’t the case, Audrey gave him another shot. Only to find out later that Chris didn’t want to commit after all. So, why did Chris change his mind?

Audrey wanted to know Chris’ summer expectations on Pump Rules

Audrey and Chris had a fun season for the most part. But during their cast trip to Paso Robles, Audrey overheard a phone call that didn’t sit right with her. Jason Cohen’s brother had called Chris and said they were going to “f*ck mad b*tches” while they were in Bali. Alrighty, then.

She also noticed he showed no signs of being serious, so Audrey friend-zoned him. That’s when Chris promised he was ready to commit and be more romantic.

When Audrey met Chris at his house, she was surprised to see he had made dinner for her. But then he dropped a bomb. He wasn’t ready to commit after all.

He said, “I think if we just keep doing what we’re doing and communicating and having fun. And I want to do more stuff like this. When I have the time.” Just what a girl wants to hear to feel special!

Audrey wondered what Chris’ expectations were for the summer. He told her he wanted to hang out with her until he left to travel and wanted to keep things open. Chris said, “God forbid, I meet a random girl I end up liking … I don’t want there to be any animosity if something happens.”

This 180 threw Audrey for a loop. She said in her confessional, “What do you mean? I broke up with you because you weren’t committing to me. You told me you were going to commit to me. I took you back. Now you want to f*ck other b*tches? What is going on?”

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
