A wife's mistake, and boy, was it a great one, has led to outright glory for her husband. Originally thinking that she applied for the Masters lottery, she ended up winning another one instead. Instead of Augusta National, she and the husband could possibly be taking a trip to, get this, Old Course.
Yes, you read that right. Per Reddit account cfram03, the love of his life "applied to The Open ticket lottery thinking it was for the Masters … and she won." (RELATED: Golfer Films Himself Getting Struck By Lightning After Committing Two Of The Biggest No-Nos)
As a result, the family now has four tickets per day for the 155th Open, which takes place at St. Andrews. The tix apply to the action slated for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

"She applied for the lottery without my knowledge because she overheard me talking about The Masters," wrote the husband on Reddit. "She just walked into my office and showed me she won tix to The Open 2027, having no idea where it even takes place.
"I literally didn't have this in any sort of plans lol. Should I take advantage of the random luck and make a boys' trip out of this?"
I do think this guy is making a massive mistake himself here. His wife pulls off one of the greatest mistakes ever to get these tickets, and his response is "Should I take advantage of the random luck and make a boys' trip out of this?"
You didn't even bother to ask the wife if she wanted to go?! ... He couldn't be more ungrateful.
