Robert De Niro appeared as the “FCC Chairman” during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which he “threatened” the talk show host.
Kimmel, 58, told the audience that he and his eponymous late-night show are “still being threatened by the FCC.” The audience then erupted into applause as De Niro, 83, emerged from backstage with a baseball bat in his hand.
“You’re being threatened by the FCC? Who is threatening you? Am I threatening you? Do you feel threatened by me?” said De Niro as he playfully poked Kimmel with the bat. This comes after President Trump fell for an AI-generated image of the Goodfellas actor.

“A little, yeah. Hey, look who it is, everybody: it’s the Chairman of the FCC. What was your name again?” said Kimmel.
“My name is none of your f–ing business. That’s my name,” replied De Niro with a snark in his tone. Kimmel then asked why he was in attendance. De Niro clarified that it was a "routine inspection" to ensure that Kimmel was "abiding by the terms" of his license.

'My name is none of your f–ing business. That’s my name,' snarked De Niro
“With a baseball bat?” quipped the late-night show host.
“I also play for the Yankees,” said De Niro, prompting the audience to clap enthusiastically.
“Now, if you would shut the f—ing mouth of yours, I have a few items I’d like to discuss,” he continued as the cheers went on.
“Let’s see,” continued the Taxi Driver star, “It says we have 192 instances of you poking fun at the President’s appearance. Did you say the President looks like a ‘Macy’s parade balloon filled with cottage cheese?’”
“Um, I may have said that,” replied Kimmel.
“Did you say that the scarf the President was wearing brought out the color in his neck-vagina?” said De Niro.
“I don’t recall,” responded Kimmel in a quiet tone.

“You don’t recall?” pushed the actor in reply. “Do you recall referring to the Commander-in-Chief as ‘Mar-a-Lardo, Benito Gasolini, Captain Cankle-roo…”

De Niro called Kimmel 'numb nuts' and a 'dumb f---'
“But what is the point of this?” questioned Kimmel.
“Did I tell you it was your turn to talk, numb nuts? You speak when I tell you to speak, and otherwise you shut the f— up,” commanded De Niro.
Kimmel stopped the actor, saying that he could not “use language like that on television,” adding that “there are rules.”
“There are rules? I run the FCC, who’s going to stop me? Who?” replied De Niro.
He continued to press Kimmel on his comments about President Trump, including asking if Kimmel had said that the President has "touched more women than the music of Adele.”
“C’mon. Now, you have to admit that’s pretty funny,” said Kimmel.
"You’re doing it again!” exclaimed De Niro, “Am I gonna have to tie your d– to a bag of doorknobs and kick it down the f–ing stairs?”

De Niro made his own jab at the President, referencing a birthday letter sent to Jeffrey Epstein
“This year you’ve also made over 3,000 jokes about the President’s beautiful son, Eric. Do you have any idea of what that kid’s been through? Do you know how hard it is to go through life looking like Beavis f—ed Butthead?” he continued.
Kimmel conceded, saying, “I’ll go easier on Eric.”
De Niro commanded the host to be “nice.” He then instructed Kimmel to follow up insults directed at Donald Trump with “something nice.” He provided an example, joking about Trump not being invited to a party of Jeffrey Epstein’s because “he’d start eating the cake before the kid jumped out.”
“Then, you’ve gotta also compliment his penmanship in that naked lady birthday poem he ‘didn't write.’ Am I clear?” he added.
Kimmel clapped back, saying that the “FCC Chairman” was abusing the power of the federal government by attempting to censor his late-night show.
“Dumb f– is finally starting to get it!” cheered De Niro before calling Kimmel a “good kid” and commanding him to “be good.”
